Sony has announced to launch a number of Xperia devices to fill the Sony’s portfolio .  Sony Xperia S has also reached the stores in time without teasing the Indian customers for too long . Sony Xperia s has a unibody concept just like in Nokia Lumia and the new HTC flagship- the one x. So there is no Micro SD card support and no removable battery . Just what is in case of Nokia Lumia. But it has a micro sim slot.

The device runs on Android Gingerbread OS instead of new Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The operating system may take some time to get use to. You have to manage with Android Gingerbread untill Sony delivers an upgrade to Android Ice Cream Sandwich in a couple of months.

The new Sony Xperia S has a 4.3 inch display powered by Sony Bravia display engine and it delivers an outstanding 342 pixels per inch. This figure of 342 pixels per inch beats Apple iPhone 4s. Sony Xperia has a  12.1 Mega Pixel shooter with Sony’s Exmor sensor, which is probably one on an android devices till now.

Unleashed Gaming experience with new Sony Xperia S

New Sony Xperia S is an excellent high end device and is one of the most promising device to wear Xperia badge. It has 1.5 ghz dual core processor, although quad core devices might become the new standard very soon. Sony Xperia S  takes an edge over the Samsung Galaxy Note in the form factor, but will surely face tough competition from 4.7 inch HTC one x. but the price tag of rs.32,549 for Sony Xperia S (compared to 37,000 of HTC one x) might do it for them , till Samsung Galaxy S3 arrives.
