With an emerging new partnership between lava and Intel, we finally have world’s first Intel powered Smartphone. With launch of Lava xolo x900, lava has given an indication of coming up with more Intel based smart phones in future. Along with India Intel has decided to launch its smart phones in china and Europe with joining hands with Chinese handset maker ZTE and French Telecom Company orange.

 

 

Lava xolo x900 is the world’s first Smartphone to be powered by atom z2460 Medfield mobile processor, which will surely add up a new standard and bar in the market of smart phones but right now it will be only available in Indian market.

In addition with Intel’s processor (the 1 GHz atom z2460), the phone is also equipped with Intel’s hyper threading technology that will make the device run faster. The hyper threading concept will increase the phone’s throughput and overall performance which will make multitasking more easy.

Lava Xolo also provides you with a 8 megapixel camera with led flash and has an excellent capability of taking 10 shots per second (so u don’t need to carry a cam with you) . The device also has a 1.3 MP front camera for making sharp and clear 3G calls. Xolo also has a 4 inch LED screen with 1080 pixels HD video playback. The phone comes up with an internal storage of 16 GB and can be upgraded with help of MicroSD card. The phone is also good for the purpose if you need to connect it to a bigger display; it has HDMI out port, so it can be easily connected to bigger displays.

 

 

Phone currently runs on Android Gingerbread but can be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich, as said by lava.

The phone is a masterpiece on paper but it’ll be interesting to know how it performs in hand. This will surely give a boom to lava’s market and will increase the demand for Intel powered smart phones.
